Komitenin ilgili konusu, Yom Kippur Savaşı’dır. 1973’te Mısır ve Suriye’nin kaybettikleri toprakları geri almak için İsrail’e saldırmasıyla başlamıştır. İsrail, ABD desteğiyle karşılık vermiştir. Savaş, büyük kayıplarla sonuçlanmış ve Camp David Anlaşması’na zemin hazırlamıştır.
